In remote mountainous villages within Annam Al-Gharb area – Kushar District, Hajjah Governorate, water scarcity was a daily hardship for families who relied almost entirely on expensive water trucking, with limited income sources and no sustainable alternatives.

In response to this urgent need, Al-Noor Charity Association implemented an Emergency Water Supply Project with generous support from Al-Najat Charity Association – State of Kuwait, aiming to alleviate severe water shortages and improve the living conditions of the most vulnerable families.

Over the course of the project, clean water was delivered regularly and in an organized manner to several remote villages, easing the daily burden on households and reducing the risks associated with unsafe water sources.

This intervention was more than a temporary relief; it restored dignity, improved public health conditions, and brought a sense of stability to families who had long struggled to secure their most basic need.

This success story reflects how timely humanitarian response can create immediate and meaningful impact, and reaffirms that access to safe water is a foundation for life and human dignity.

By providing water, suffering was eased… and hope was restored
