After years of forced displacement, thousands of families endured harsh living conditions in temporary camps lacking safe housing, basic services, and access to clean water. These conditions placed an immense burden on women, children, and the elderly.
In response to this humanitarian crisis, Al-Noor Charity Association implemented the Rural Villages for the Displaced Project, a comprehensive development initiative designed to move families from temporary relief toward long-term stability and dignity.
The project provides suitable housing units that ensure family privacy, supported by essential service facilities, along with a water well that offers a sustainable and reliable source of clean water, significantly improving health and living conditions.
These villages became more than a replacement for tents—they formed the foundation of stable communities, restoring a sense of safety and belonging, supporting children’s education, and enabling families to rebuild their lives with hope and confidence.
Here, displacement ended… and a new life began.
